In recent years, the Coronavirus emergency has led to profound changes in all organizations. The acceleration of digital transformation in work contexts was one of the main turning points triggered by the pandemic. For what concerns the training and scientific updating of healthcare workers, the need has emerged to convert traditional face-to-face methods into digital formats, to guarantee remote usability without sacrificing teaching and communication effectiveness.

AccMed has always invested in innovation and was fortunately ready to accelerate the adoption of new digital methodologies and technologies. In recent years, AccMed has developed the functionality of its distance learning platform (https://fad.accmed.org) and has integrated this platform with a videoconferencing solutions capable of guaranteeing adequate levels of reliability, quality and interactivity. At the same time, AccMed - with the support of its scientific collaborators - has defined and implemented new digital teaching formats and increased resources aimed at creating online platforms for scientific updating.

This innovation effort continues, in the belief that digital and hybrid solutions represent the future of training and updating.
